Job DescriptionPosition SummaryThe Salvation Army Northern Division Grand Forks Corps Maintenance Custodian is responsible for performing cleaning, minor maintenance, and grounds keeping.$17.00/hour1600 University Ave, Grand Forks, ND 58203Essential Functions (approximate time spent) Perform custodial duties to maintain clean, tidy, and sanitary conditions throughout the building.

(70%) Load and unload food/donation deliveries. (10%)Maintain vehicle fleet, including cleaning and scheduling maintenance. (5%)Perform minor repair work to maintain safety and within scope of training/regulations. (5%)Assist with special/seasonal events, including room set up, etc. (5%)Maintain grounds, including snow/ice removal. (5%)Education and ExperienceHigh School diploma or equivalent required. Two years of custodial experience. Pass background checks. A valid driver's license and meeting MVR requirements preferred.
CompetenciesWorking knowledge of safe handling of equipment, chemicals, and materials regularly used in basic maintenance and custodial duties. Ability to perform some or all physical tasks including lifting, scrubbing, sweeping, mopping, and other custodial duties.
Good interpersonal and communication skills.
Proficient with PC, Microsoft Office, and databasesWorking ConditionsRegular physical work including lifting, bending, kneeling, climbing, walking, and standing.
Must be able to regularly lift 50 pound and occasionally lift 100 pounds.
Professional environment; not eligible for a remote-friendly work environment. Must be able to communicate clearly with colleagues.
