Validation Specialist III

The core responsibilities of the Validation Specialist III include but are not limited to performing Outbound Calls to Insurance Agents/Regional offices or utilizing various electronic means such as websites for verification of loan collateral coverage.

Works with vehicle and mortgage outbound calls.

This position will be responsible for reviewing and cancelling force placed auto collateral protection insurance with high quality expectations that do not result in a loss of premium for Allied.

This position will also be responsible to have extensive knowledge around reviewing history and understanding different coverage types around escrow premium.

Be able to key escrow premium bills efficiently and accurately.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

Verifications (70%): -


Employee needs to have extensive knowledge around reviewing loan history and research what actions are needed to effectively obtain and key renewal premiums.

Employee needs the understanding of the different coverage types such as: flood, commercial, and condos while maintaining compliance regulations. Can understand and report any learning opportunities to upper management.

Employee needs to have extensive knowledge in Mortgage Escrow


Performing Mortgage Outbound Calls to Insurance Agents/Regional offices or utilizing various electronic means such as websites for verification of loan collateral coverage.

Conduct Web inquires to insurance companies to verify insurance and process the escrow work queue images with accuracy while meeting or exceeding department benchmark


Ability to read and understand insurance documents for mortgage, in loan history, to perform the correct task that is needed for that loan while following lender particulars.

Analyze loan level files and policies and procedures on behalf of Allied and our clients. Review and analyze servicing reporting for escrow advances, lender placed insurance, and fee research. Accurately verify, key, and/or memo insurance information in relation to all escrow product/coverage types (windstorm, hazard, wind, etc). Update loan history based on research and documentation received (either written or verbal).

Workload Support (20%): -

Report any system related issues

Assist supervisor with special projects

Assist with mentoring of other employees in the Document & Data Processes Department as required

Answers questions, corrects errors, and resolves discrepancies

Performs other duties as assigned

Standards (10%): -


Ability to meet the department goal of 6+ accounts per hour by performing website verifications and phone calls to insurance agents.


Needs the ability to be able to multitask to assist the department in meeting our department SLA's of 92% in -14 days completed.

Qualifications (Education, Experience, Certifications & KSA):

High School Diploma required

1-2 years of directly related work experience required

Use of clear, concise, and effective oral communication; accurately composes written materials as required by the position.

Handle confidential information in a responsible manner.

Ability to convey thoughts in a focused and concrete manner.

Ability to identify, analyze, and resolve problems.

Adaptable to change and has the ability to make independent decisions.

Ability to self-prioritize and has strong organization workflow skills.

Ability to meet service level expectations.
