Our team includes One PA and Two OBGYN providers who rotate to deliver care in the region. As our region grows, we are looking for individuals skilled in multitasking and interested in a long-term commitment.

Summary:
Provide direct patient care addressing both psychological and physical needs following the care plan, physician's orders, and departmental policies. Patients span all age groups, from neonates to geriatrics, across various settings including inpatient, ambulatory care, home health, and hospice.

Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to developing and updating individualized care plans, consulting with other healthcare professionals to meet patient/caregiver needs.
  • Observe, assess, document, and communicate patient responses to treatments/therapies, adjusting care priorities accordingly.
  • Engage in activities enhancing unit/service quality and participate in committees, CQI activities, and personnel education.
  • Administer a wide range of treatments/therapies, monitor patients, assist in procedures, conduct tests, provide education, and offer support to patients and families throughout their healthcare journey.
  • Support patients and families, de-escalate tense situations, and promote effective coping mechanisms.

Education Requirements:
● Graduation from a state-accredited practical nurse education program.
Licensure/Certification Requirements:
● Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in North Carolina, with BLS certification.
Professional Experience Requirements:
● Minimum of two (2) years prior experience as an LPN.
