The Role:Private Accounting Solutions (PAS) Associates serve as members of various client service teams. Associates are responsible for the daily accounting and monthly, quarterly or annual financial close process. Associates receive both formal and on-the-job training to hone and develop their technical and analytical skills.
Associates responsibilities include:
- Accounting and general ledger functions, such as data entry, reconciling of accounts, as well as performing basic accounting research and written conclusions;
- Maintenance of work papers in accordance with enacted processes and guidelines;
- Preparation of financial statements; and
- Communication with Senior Associations and Managers to clarify accounting-related issues, procedures and policies.
Compensation and Benefits
Our firm offers competitive base compensation, benefits package, and a discretionary employee bonus program for eligible employees based on individual and firm performance metrics per the defined program guidelines. For individuals hired to work in Los Angeles, the expected salary range for this role is $66,560 to $73,000; the actual salary offer can vary based upon employee qualifications.
Benefits: Employees (and their families) are covered by medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. Employees are able to enroll in our firms 401(k) plan upon hire. Compensation: In addition to competitive base compensation, our firm offers annual discretionary bonuses based on firm and individual performance, a discretionary long-term cash incentive program, and other forms of discretionary compensation that would be offered to the hired applicant in addition to their established salary range scale.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related degree and/or an advanced degree in Accounting, Taxation, JD or LLM;
- A minimum GPA of 3.0;
- Strong leadership, multitasking and organizational skills;
- Self-starter with initiative to seek out opportunities in a fast-paced environment;
- Strong interpersonal skills; and
- Ability to interact with various levels of client and firm management through both written and verbal communication.
