Job Summary

The Research Assistant will be involved in new cell culture reagent product development and supporting existing products In particular, he/she will be involved in determining the feasibility and launch of new products through establishing/executing optimized cell culture models and collaborating with MFG/QC teams for tech.

Essential Functions

Design the experiment together with the supervisor scientists.
Conduct experiments independently.
Lead assigned laboratory activities such as trainings, ordering supplies, keeping inventories updated.
Create SOPs and other documentation relevant to the product development
Troubleshoot cell based-assays
Perform relevant primary and cell lines culture.
Quantify and characterize antibodies by multiple techniques (SDS-PAGE, ELISA, Flow Cytometry, and others)
Troubleshooting and conducting process improvements on cell culture
Perform good ISO-compliant documentation
Work independently as well as part of a team
Capable of multi-tasking and working in a fast-paced goal-driven environment
Communicate and collaborate effectively with teams including R&D, Product Development, Manufacturing, and Quality Control.
Other projects or responsibilities as may be required.

Minimum Qualifications



Education and Experience
B. S. or M.S. in Cell Biology, Immunology or other related field
At least 2 years of relevant experience working in an academic or industry laboratory
2+ years of cell culturing experience
1+ years of experience with SDS-PAGE, ELISA, and flow cytometry
Preferred Qualifications – Education and Experience
Experience culturing and handling primary cells such as PBMCs and adult stem/progenitor cells.
Experience in cell-based assays
Experience in development or characterization of antibodies (Ig Quantification, Flow cytometry, etc.)
The base salary range for this full-time position is

$65, ,000.

This range reflects the minimum and maximum target for a new hire in this position.

The base pay actually offered to the successful candidate will take into account internal equity, work location, and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

Please note that base pay is only one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range.
