Position:

Join the Ocular department at Pharmaron (San Diego) as an In Vivo Research Associate II.

The ideal candidate will play a vital role in supporting in vivo studies for ocular disorders.


Primary Responsibilities:
  • Develop and support in vivo models for testing devices and therapeutics targeting ocular disorders.

Other important functions include:
  • Administer test substances using various methods across multiple species.
  • Collect biological specimens and ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Handle and care for laboratory animals.
  • Perform study preparation activities and necropsies.
  • Interact with different teams including study director, principal investigator, and QC/QA.

Maintain accurate records in various internal databases including eQCM, Provantis, and Vivarium +.
  • Support internal research projects and perform aseptic techniques.

Candidate Requirements:
  • Associates degree preferred with 3 years of experience, or a BS with a minimum of 2 years relevant experience.
  • Certification as a registered veterinary technician is a plus.
  • Background in lab animal research is required.
