Job Description

Location: Sherman Oaks, CA (This Position is NOT Remote)

**Occasional travel may be necessary for this position**

Looking for a dynamic individual that can work as a loan officer assistant with a loan processing background.

Responsibility:
-Gathering information for the loan application
-Evaluating credit, income and assets for applications
-Collecting data from clients such as their assets, salaries, debts and employment
status to fill in information for the loan application
-Researching and correcting mistakes in applications for clients
-Reviewing file documentation for missing or erroneous information and requesting
corrections
-Meeting loan application deadlines
-Assisting Loan Officer with requests and tasks needed to complete and process
applications
-Organizing documents
-Interfacing between operations and the borrower to ensure all documents needed are
in the file in a timely manner
-Follow up with clients regarding document submissions and pre-approval check-ins.
-Provide updates to clients and agents on loan status and changes.
-Send out weekly email utilizing CRM
-Respond promptly to incoming emails and inquires.
-Deliver end-of-day email summaries detailing completed activities and outlining
upcoming
-tasks for the following day or week, fostering alignment and synchronization within the
teams objectives.
-Assist with day-to-day email responses to clients and realtors

Loan Processor skills and qualifications

-Experience with loan origination software (Encompass preferred)
-Strong understanding of how to use Microsoft Word and Excel
-Verbal and written communication
-Good interpersonal and customer service skills
-Time-management and organization skills
-Ability to work with strict deadlines
-Ability to explain technical concepts in simple terms
-Ability to work in fast-paced environment
-Willingness to learn new concepts to grow and advance
-5 years experience in mortgage industry

  • Monday to Friday
  • On-Site
