The Hot Swap Product Application team is seeking a motivated, experienced engineer to provide support to our Cloud and Data Center Business Unit located at ADI's San Jose Office.

In this role the successful candidate will be contributing to enable specific Lab automations for efficient application testing of new power management, sequencer and hot swap products as well as contributing to product specific SW/FW development.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Develop automated testing of new power management, sequencers and hot swap products
  • Develop FW on microcontrollers for automated testing of certain product features
  • Develop FW/SW as needed for new products EVKIT demo.
  • Support customer applications for assigned products.
  • Perform Product Road testing and generate road test reports.
Minimum qualifications
  • MSEE prefered
  • 1+ years or equivalent experience in Lab Automation, SW/FW development
  • Strong communications skills and open to travel as necessary.
  • Strong lab test and measurement skills.
  • Strong writing, technical drawing and verbal communications skills for documenting lab reports and creating product application notes.
  • Proficient with test equipment such as oscilloscopes, electronic loads, spectrum/network analyzers and other common lab instruments and software (Python, LabView).
  • Strong knowledge of using microcontrollers, FW and SW development as needed.
  • Proficient in writing professional technical documents and datasheets and creating technical drawings using MS Word and Visio.

The wage range for a new hire into this position is $91,942 to $130,842.
  • Actual wage offered may vary depending on geography, experience, education, training, external market data, internal equity, or other bona fide factors.
