About the Role:
- Perform tasks associated with Dev Ops, including manual or automated deployment.
- Build servers for application ecosystems.
- Remediate vulnerabilities managed by the Business Unit promptly to avoid software deployment delays.
- Assist in troubleshooting and providing solutions for IT/Application issues and support the Production team during incident bridges.
- Create automated processes to minimize human errors.
- Collaborate with TFS Admin to enhance deployment definitions and build out existing build definitions to accommodate platform/application changes.
Additional Tasks:
- Stay updated on current technology trends, research new tools, and techniques.
- Identify risks and provide options for risk mitigation, focusing on potential conflicts between software releases and infrastructure changes.
- Create and Maintain runbooks for deployments.
Requirements:
- 4 years of relevant work experience in Application Deployment and Release.
- 2-year degree in CIS/Computer Science or a combination of four years of IT experience.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Operating systems, IIS, .net middleware components, scripting, and basic SQL server knowledge.
- Effective communication, task management, and prioritization skills.
- Travel Guard product knowledge is a plus.
