We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Manager to join our Information Technology team at AIG. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for creating a clear vision and strategy for the team to move to an increasingly proactive and preventive role, meeting the rapidly changing demands of the business and evolving technology.

You will work closely with senior management to set the overall department direction, make recommendations for improvements in the delivery of services, and participate in the management of the Information Technology department.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading Agile team members in the process and delivery aspects of their role
  • Maintaining professional and technical knowledge, analyzing current processes for compliance requirements and efficiency, and making recommendations on new technologies, processes, and procedures
  • Acting with integrity and leading by example, demonstrating ethical behaviors and practices, risk management, and compliance to AIG policies
  • Maintaining a quality, highly motivated Quality Assurance team, encouraging professional growth, and helping identify growth opportunities for staff

We are looking for a candidate with:

  • Experience in IT management, preferably in a Quality Assurance role
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to present to multiple levels of leadership and technical knowledge
  • Ability to apply systems thinking to generate solutions, focus on process rather than the specific event to identify root cause and evaluate alternative solutions/process improvements
  • Ability to perform in a fast-paced agile environment and lead global cross-functional teams in a 24x7x365 model
