The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for assisting with the home office social media, marketing, and digital resources as well as supporting maintenance of assigned hotels' digital resources and marketing efforts.

The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for helping to support the Marketing Manager's workflow and productivity related to marketing initiatives, whether print or digital.

The Marketing Coordinator will support the designing and distribution of initiatives as directed to support the hotels' goals to increase revenue and fill need dates.

This position at the Home Office may also periodically work with the onsite hotel sales teams.

Experience and Expertise of the following are a must have for this position:
Google analytics understanding and ad creation ability

Social media strategy

Brand development support

Multi-property hospitality or travel industry experience

Pay range $20-$26 per hour depending on experience

  • Aptitude & Adaptability ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing priorities and business needs
  • Composure ability to maintain composure and work under pressure, managing stress to meet business demands. (Calmly handle all customer and employee interactions & issues)
  • Attention to Detail ability to follow instructions and achieve thoroughness and accuracy when accomplishing tasks
  • Training ability to share knowledge and act as a resource in teaching others to perform tasks efficiently and safely

Experience / Education
Minimum 1-2 years of marketing experience preferred. College degree or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.

Physical Demands
Work is performed in a hybrid model environment with both in office and at home work.

The Marketing Coordinator will be expected to work in the office in Portland, ME 2-3 days a week after training.
