PROGRAM COORDINATOR

RESIDENTIAL

FULL TIME NON EXEMPT

General Summary:
Responsible for the day to day supervision and coordination of the treatment team in the manager's absence. Monitor individualized treatment and rehabilitation plans. Provide direct services as assigned.

Essential Responsibilities:
Lead and coordinate in the manager's absence, an overall treatment team responsible for the implementation of daily programming.

Create and help maintain the team with positive role modeling, attitude, etc.

Assist in program planning and development.

Development and implementation of treatment plans and documentation of services consistent with Thrive and MTT standards.

Assume a key role in the development of individual treatment plans; monitor medical records documentation;

Assist in the recruitment, training, and supervision of staff.

Provide direct care and service to assigned clients.

Monitor staff scheduling.

Ensure that treatment planning and clinical record keeping are consistent standards established by Thrive.

Provide regular supervision of program staff (including time sheets, performance evaluation).

Recruit, interview, screen, select, and orient/train program staff in conjunction with CCO

Serve on committees as assigned, both external and internal.

Initiates budgetary recommendations and controls.

Provide individual, couple, group and family counseling.

Provide crisis intervention.

Provide referral consultation and education to the community regarding issues of chemical dependency or (mental health).

Provide chemical dependency consultation, education and training to Thrive personnel.

Provide education, training and modeling in ADL skills.

Collaborate with other providers, agencies and individuals in the client network of care.

Complete billing, data collection forms, and clinical documentation in accordance with Thrive standards.

Maintains professional relationship with representatives in other Thrive, public officials, community leaders and the general public.

Additional Responsibilities:
Attend all agency/department required training and meetings within the prescribed period.


Attend all Safety Training programs and be able to describe his/her responsibilities related to the general safety, department safety, and specific job-related hazards and responsibilities.


Demonstrate respect and regard for the dignity of all clients, families, visitors and fellow employees to ensure a professional, responsible and courteous environment.

Education, Experience and Competencies:
Bachelor's Degree in the Human Service field or an equivalent combination of education and experience required.

Minimum (2) year experience in Human Service field working with clients with disabilities preferred.

Experience or training in related state and federal assistance programs also preferred.

Basic computer literacy skills are necessary.

Certifications, Licenses Requirements:


Valid driver's license and automobile insurance which meets Rhode Island minimum standards required, or the ability to obtain necessary transportation in order to perform the responsibilities/tasks of the job.

C ase Management/Community Support Professional Certification or working toward required.
