Additionally, you will be responsible for overseeing the operations of the design studio and office to ensure seamless functioning. At The Workroom, you will experience a dynamic, collaborative, and enjoyable work environment. We are excited to welcome a new member to our expanding team

Key Responsibilities:

  • Track and oversee all orders throughout the design project lifecycle
  • Manage shipment logistics including obtaining Freight quotes, placing orders, and ensuring timely delivery and installation
  • Prepare for installations and upcoming deadlines by verifying spreadsheets and coordinating with vendors on product timelines
  • Invoice clients for products
  • Order items that have been invoiced and paid for
  • Review and ensure accurate item information and pricing
  • Update vendor details in Ivy application
  • Handle refunds, claims, and product-related issues
  • Cultivate relationships with representatives and vendors
  • Acquire knowledge about vendors and their procedures
  • Monitor and respond to emails in the Workroom's account daily
  • Manage and organize new project inquiries
  • Ensure smooth office operations by procuring supplies, arranging team lunches, etc.

Requirements:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Google Sheets & Slides
  • Resourceful problem-solver
  • Self-motivated and capable of negotiation and conflict resolution
  • Associate Degree or higher qualification
  • Prior experience in purchasing is a plus
  • Preferably possess account management and invoicing skills
  • Background in design or related field is advantageous
