Job Responsibilities:
Work with existing clients and provide friendly prompt service to customers for their personal insurance needs
  • Works on our renewal team with other renewal specialists
  • Exclusively works on renewal policies and insurance policies with our existing clients
  • Help customers understand their insurance and options for their renewals
  • Review existing policies at renewal and re-market customers to new companies as necessary
  • service, and explain personal lines insurance policies including home, renters, auto, motorcycle, boat, umbrella, and jewelry insurance
  • Check work to ensure agency standards are met
  • Establish working relationships with clients, potential clients, and companies we represent on the phone, email, and on paper
  • Research and resolve coverage questions
  • Promptly respond to client needs either on the phone or electronically
  • Maintain client files and process routine correspondence between our agency and the client or company... both paper records and our many different software programs
  • Cultivate new opportunities and offer additional lines of insurance through consultative selling - can refer to our sales team
Professional and Personal Skills:
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and a calculator
  • Type quickly and accurately
  • Quote Rush and Ezlynx rating systems
  • Agency Zoom or other CRM system
  • Agency Management Prior usage- we use Hawksoft - but prior experience with Ams360, Applied/ Epic, or another management system
  • Knowledge of Florida home and auto policies - companies used include Auto Owners, Tower Hill, Progressive, AAA, American Integrity, Southern Oak - and 32 other independent insurance companies.
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • Organized, structured, punctual and will follow the underwriting rules and guidelines
  • Patient, respectful, reliable, trustworthy, friendly, supportive, articulate, kind, ethical and honest
Wages and Compensation:
We offer competitive wages and bonuses depending on years of experience. Salary plus bonus/commissions.

Our office is located in the Mandarin area of Jacksonville, FL Office hours are Monday to Friday from 8:30 am to 5 pm with 30 minutes for lunch. We offer paid time off, vacation days, group medical, vision, & dental insurance, and short and long-term disability.. We provide a retirement plan with 3% company match. This is a professional office setting.
