Demonstrate by words and actions a commitment to the Goodwill mission to help people with disabilities and other barriers to become self-sufficient, working members of the community.
Attend and participate in a variety of meetings and task force groups as directed and maintain required level of knowledge pertaining to operating procedures, requirements, processes, and policies.
Follow safety rules, ensure safe operating conditions are followed within area of responsibility, wear required personal protective equipment and clothing, and keep work area in clean and orderly condition.
Perform or assist with any assignments as required or directed.
Must have a valid Florida drivers license, valid insurance, and the ability to be insured under the companys vehicle insurance policy.
Minimum one (1) year previous driving experience in full-size van preferred.
Ability to communicate clearly and understand verbal/written instructions.
Legible handwriting necessary for completion of forms.
Knowledge of local geographical area.
Ability to deal with a wide variety of people in a positive manner; excellent customer service skills.
**ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:**
1. Work from policies, standards, and instructions, vehicle inspection lists, driver logs and other similar documentation.
2. Pick up and load food carts and laundry on to box truck and secure load to avoid shifting or damage in transit. Document information, provide for count of materials as required.
3. Drive to designated locations in compliance with all defined regulations.
4. Transport program participants in van to and from the Lewis Center. Provide transportation to activities or appointments as instructed.
5. Follow defined schedules to perform periodic vehicle inspections in accordance with procedures. Document inspection and report the need for repairs. Perform routine maintenance operations on vehicles as needed and fuel vehicles as assigned, record fueling data on receipts and make and submit copies in keeping with prescribed procedures.
6. Make certain truck and loading areas are clean and orderly.
7. Maintain valid State of Florida drivers license.
**OTHER DUTIES MAY INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:**

(Gulfstream Goodwill), may now, or at any time while I am employed, conduct a verification of my education, prior employer verification, workers compensation claims/injuries, and motor vehicle records; contact personal references; require that I provide a urine or blood specimen to be tested for the presence of drugs or alcohol as the result of an incident or due to reasonable suspicion; and receive any criminal history record information pertaining to me that may be in the files of any federal, state, county, or local criminal justice agency and/or other information as deemed necessary to fulfill the job requirements. Medical and workers compensation information will only be required in compliance with the Federal Americans with Disabilities Act and/or any other applicable state laws. The results of this verification process will be used to determine employment eligibility under Gulfstream Goodwills employment policies.
