Job Description:

This role involves various in-person onboarding tasks such as validating new hire I-9 forms, collecting local tax and union documents, and processing compliance-related paperwork. Leverage our programs to ensure a smooth transition for new hires into the company. Collaborate with hiring managers to confirm and validate hiring plans, as well as support external partners in executing the recruitment strategy. Identify inefficiencies in the onboarding process, offer insights, and suggest enhancements. Maintain accurate documentation throughout the onboarding journey, handling sensitive information with care. Manage internal bid processes, ensuring compliance with guidelines for internal and external hiring.


Responsibilities:

  • Execute pre-boarding/onboarding activities and programs (e.g., I-9 verification, background check validation, scheduling coordination, biometrics and fingerprinting support, etc.)
  • Post, collect, and audit bid lists, maintain hiring ratio accuracy, handle Driver Qualification Files (DQF; e.g., license verification, background checks, road test scheduling, drug screening for Feeder drivers, etc.)
  • Keep detailed candidate notes on bid files
  • Coordinate driver drug screening
  • Assist with Integrad driver list for internal candidates


Qualifications:
  • Excellent time management, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, OneNote)
  • Prior HR experience
  • Willingness to travel and work in various locations
Preferences:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent international certification
  • Prior experience at UPS
