The following work activities are listed as examples only and in no event shall an employee be limited to only those examples listed here:
  • Develops and assists in the planning and implementation of school district, building, and BOCES' technical networking systems
  • In collaboration with district employees, develops and coordinates the implementation of the organization's technology plan, based on instructional and administrative needs in relation to the organization's strategic goals
  • Prepares and submits required and appropriate reports
  • Reviews and updates acquisition procedures and maintains an inventory of computer/technology related equipment
  • Organizes training and awareness sessions on the use of administrative and instructional software applications and hardware technology
  • Coordinates computer assisted instruction and computer managed instructional system
  • Assists in the integration of technology applications in K-12 curriculum
  • Supervises technical assistance on computer applications
  • Assists building administrators in the development and implementation of technology programs and budgets
  • Chairs technology committees
  • Acts as the liaison between the organization's staff and technology vendors, making recommendations for purchases
  • Performs other duties as assigned
