To assist individuals in obtaining superior information about resources available to people with disabilities, systems navigation, and individual advocacy in a tested customer-friendly manner; using an effective problem-solving approach that builds individuals' knowledge and increases ownership and autonomy.

Join our Outreach Team as a Temporary Recovery Specialist We're seeking a teammate who promotes harm reduction strategies and leads with compassion, loves building relationships, and is a strong advocate for our community.

As a Temporary Recovery Specialist, you'll work in collaboration with our Outreach Team and Ottawa County Community Mental Health (CMH) to walk with our houseless neighbors by educating on harm reduction, connecting to recovery resources, and conducting wellness checks.


Status:
Full-time salaried, 40 hours/week

Reports to:
MomsBloom Board of Directors

Supervisory Responsibilities:
Directly supervise the Program Director/Director of Operations and Marketing and Communications Coordinator. Oversee all MomsBloom staff.
Position Summary
The Executive Director is in charge of overseeing MomsBloom's vision and strategic plan to lead decisions to drive growth. Responsibilities include collaborating with the leadership team, implementing strategic plans, and managing relationships with stakeholders.
Our ideal candidate will be highly focused and mission driven. They believe in the goals of Momsbloom and embody our core values when interacting with stakeholders. Successful Executive Directors demonstrate honesty, humility, transparency and respect when interacting with their team.
Primary Responsibilities
Collaborate with the Board of Directors to identify, create and implement strategic plans to actualize organizational objectives.

Identify, recruit, train and develop a talented team of employees who can lead critical departments and manage strategic business functions.

Monitor organizational operations and ensure employees and business practices comply with regulatory and legal requirements.
Develop the organizational culture and promote transparency and collaboration throughout the organization.
Develop partnerships with company stakeholders, shareholders, industry regulators and other relevant parties.
Identify potential risks and opportunities within the organization and its environment to protect business interests.
Identify potential sources of investment and organize fundraising efforts.
Represent the company at social and corporate events in ways that strengthen the brand and communicate the company's message.

An analytical mind capable of "out-of-the-box" thinking to solve projects
Outstanding organization and leadership abilities

For more than 75 years, Resthaven has served the Holland community, providing seniors with a full continuum of healthcare and services that is both innovative and tailored to their individual needs and different life stages.

As the only faith-based, non-profit senior health and living organization in the area, we are committed to serving, supporting, and inspiring seniors as they age.

In the summer of 2024, we will open an entirely new campus on 40 acres adjacent to Van Raalte Farm in Holland, MI.

This nature-rich setting will encourage healthy, active living and offer a vibrant space to build community and make rewarding connections.

It will be our first campus that provides independent living and assisted living/memory care on the same site. The campus has 104 independent living units and a 24-room assisted living/memory care building.

The Farmstead will provide a full array of life enrichment activities, dining, transportation and more so residents can enjoy a full life and have the time to do more of what they love.
