Helio Health's Child & Adolescent Clinic operates satellite offices at many school districts throughout Central, NY.


Currently, Helio Health is looking to hire a School Based Mental Health Therapist(Licensed Counselor) to provide counseling services forJamesville-Dewitt Middle and High School.

The Mental Health Counselor work with students by providing a variety of mental health needs, including anxiety, depression, attention issues, problematic behaviors, trauma, substance use issues, issues with family and interpersonal functioning, and more.

This position is aFull-Timeposition with Helio Health.

When school is not in session, counselors will be providing services at ourChild & Adolescent Clinicas part of our Outpatient program.

In addition to Helio Health's comprehensive benefits package, Full-Time Licensed Counselors are eligible for aSign-On Incentivebetween$4,000-$8,000 depending upon licensure

Pay Range:
$ $30.80 per hour.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a case load of patients with grades ranging from elementary through high school.
  • Perform essential counseling responsibilities including screening, intake and orientation, evaluation and intervention, treatment planning, referrals, crisis intervention, counseling, patient education, case management, reporting and record keeping.
  • Relate effectively with staff, patients, and professional community while upholding appropriate standards of confidentiality.
Qualifications

  • Must hold a valid professional License (including but not limited to LMSW, LCSW, LMHC, LMFT, LCAT, etc.)
  • Limited Permit (LP) Licenses are acceptable.
  • Master's Degree required.
  • Two years employment experience in the Human Services field preferred.

Salary and hourly compensation offers are based on candidate's education level and experience relevant to the position and also take into account information provided by the hiring manager and program.
