About US 1 Shorthaul's Recruiting Coordinator Position:

JOB SUMMARY:

We are a national logistics company and are providing support to distribution centers across the country. We are looking for a versatile Recruiting Coordinator who will participate in the hiring process from beginning to end as well as support our dynamic Corporate Office and its Leadership Team. The successful candidate will play a key role in helping us shape our future as well as the organization's growth.

Proactive and effective communication is a must for this position, along with attention to detail.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Cultivate communication with Facility Managers, Site Managers, and Hiring Managers to clarify specific hiring needs on an ongoing basis
  • Maintain communication (via ADP, email, and phone) with both internal and external candidates to manage expectations throughout the hiring process
  • Accurately update and maintain internal tracking databases in a timely manner on an ongoing basis
  • Assist with recruiting functions to include applicant tracking system maintenance and participation in recruiting meetings
  • Coordinates pre-screening and interview scheduling of candidates
  • Participate in recruiting events as needed
  • Assist with contract transitions and incumbent capture
  • Answer and direct phone calls
  • Organize and schedule appointments / meetings and take detailed minutes
  • Maintain contact lists
  • Provide general support to visitors
  • Type, word process, copy, distribute, and fax documents / memos
  • Write and distribute email, correspondence memos, letters, faxes, and forms
  • Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports
  • Develop and maintain a filing system
  • Research and setup office supply vendor company wide
  • Responds to inquiries from managers and employees as well as acts as the point of contact for internal and external clients
  • Take over and ongoing maintenance of UPS account, to include billing
  • Maintain equipment tracking in ADP (phones, computers, other equipment issued)
  • Liaise with senior management and senior administrative team to handle requests, calendars, and other inquiries
  • Other duties as assigned
SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:
  • 3+ years of Recruiting (or related) experience
  • Demonstrated successful track record as a Recruiter (or the like)
  • High School Diploma / GED
  • Logistics experience preferred
  • Experience with applicant tracking systems preferred
  • Self-starter, attention to detail, focus, and commitment
  • Must be organized with the ability to coordinate, balance, and prioritize amongst several internal companies and departments in a collaborative team environment
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple competing priorities for various internal and external applicants, employees, and customers
  • Utilize problem solving skills
  • Ability to exercise discretion and solid judgment in the planning and performance of all the duties and functions of the job
  • Must have the ability to utilize problem solving skills and be able handle high stress environments while working efficiently and rapidly to adjust to evolving business needs under the pressure of deadlines
  • Proficient knowledge of office management systems, equipment, and procedures
  • Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
  • Attention to detail and problem solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work with peers in-person, via email, via phone, or in remote meetings with personnel in multiple locations throughout the country

POSITION TYPE, PAY, AND EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK:

  • This is a full-time, non-exempt (hourly) position.
  • This is a day shift position.
  • This is an hybrid position (combination of work in-office and remote).
