Our challenge
We are looking for a Lead Developer who will be responsible for hands-on coding and reviewing code for both front-end and back-end components.
Additional Information*
The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within Irving, TX is $80k - $100k/year & benefits (see below).
The Role
Responsibilities :
Develop and maintain scalable web applications using React, NodeJS, and MongoDB. Dedicate approximately 50% of the time to hands-on coding and development. Spend the other 50% on conducting thorough code reviews for both front-end and back-end components. Ensure that all pull requests (PRs) meet the company's coding standards and best practices. Provide constructive feedback and guidance to developers on improving PR submissions. Lead the effort to maintain and enhance code quality, including refactoring and optimization. Collaborate closely with the development team to architect robust solutions. Stay updated with new technologies and propose their adoption wherever beneficial. Potentially assist in integrating a distributed cache system like Redis into our tech stack. Mentor junior developers and promote a culture of continuous learning within the team.Requirements:
You are:
Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field. Minimum of 10 years of experience in full-stack development. Proven expertise in React, NodeJS, and MongoDB. Experience with code review processes and static code analysis tools. Strong understanding of web application architecture and design patterns. Familiarity with distributed caching systems, preferably Redis, is a plus. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Commitment to producing high-quality code and leading by example.
