Our challenge

We are looking for a Lead Developer who will be responsible for hands-on coding and reviewing code for both front-end and back-end components.

The Role

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain scalable web applications using React, NodeJS, and MongoDB.
• Dedicate approximately 50% of the time to hands-on coding and development.
• Spend the other 50% on conducting thorough code reviews for both front-end and back-end components.
• Ensure that all pull requests (PRs) meet the company's coding standards and best practices.
• Provide constructive feedback and guidance to developers on improving PR submissions.
• Lead the effort to maintain and enhance code quality, including refactoring and optimization.
• Collaborate closely with the development team to architect robust solutions.
• Stay updated with new technologies and propose their adoption wherever beneficial.
• Potentially assist in integrating a distributed cache system like Redis into our tech stack.
• Mentor junior developers and promote a culture of continuous learning within the team.

Requirements:

You are:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in full-stack development.
• Proven expertise in React, NodeJS, and MongoDB.
• Experience with code review processes and static code analysis tools.
• Strong understanding of web application architecture and design patterns.
• Familiarity with distributed caching systems, preferably Redis, is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Commitment to producing high-quality code and leading by example.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

It would be great if you also had:

• Preferably experience with implementing distributed cache.
