Job Overview:

We are looking for an Executive Medical Director to lead the safety strategy for our Hematology late-stage oncology portfolio. In this role, you will oversee a team of safety physicians and staff, ensuring the safety of our oncology products.


Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement safety strategies for the Hematology late-stage portfolio.
  • Collaborate with internal partners for personalized safety approaches.
  • Act as a safety representative in cross-functional teams.
  • Maintain expertise in hematology and stay updated on industry guidelines and data.
  • Manage and mentor safety colleagues within the oncology/hematology area.
  • Contribute to key safety documents and communications for the portfolio.
  • Lead process improvement and explore innovative safety approaches.
  • Qualifications:

Key Qualifications:

  • MD/ DO with internal medicine residency.
  • Experience in patient management and oncology.
  • Minimum 10 years in pharmaceutical industry with Clinical Safety focus.
  • Previous experience in NDA submissions and managing teams.

  • Expertise in PV and clinical development.
