Job Description:
- Responsible for managing accurate insurance information and verifying benefits for patients
- Collaborate with insurance companies, healthcare providers, and patients to ensure appropriate medication coverage
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely reimbursement and patient support
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Utilize computer software for data entry and tracking
- Maintain documentation of communication with relevant parties
- Conduct benefits investigation and complete payer documentation
- Act as a liaison between different stakeholders involved
- Support patients with estimated cost of benefits and coordination of support services
Requirements:
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Detail-oriented with the ability to meet deadlines
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Prior experience in benefits administration preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent
Physical Requirements:
- Stationary position up to 90% of the time with occasional movement within the office
