ManTech is currently in search of a dedicated and customer-focused SME Digital Engineer to become part of our Washington, D.C. team. This role offers the flexibility of remote work.
Main Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with SED GPOCs and stakeholders to establish an integrated digital approach for exploring system capabilities and innovative solution impacts within a virtual Digital Engineering (DE) environment.
- Drive the advancement of digital modeling & simulation capabilities from single to multiple systems, creating a system of systems within the CBP border security ecosystem covering various domains such as land, air, maritime, and cyber.
- Assist SED in implementing a secure and resilient Digital Engineering (DE) environment that promotes interoperability.
- Contribute to engineering studies to ensure that virtual environment technologies meet user and mission requirements while ensuring cost-effectiveness and operational excellence.
- Demonstrate expertise in engineering, automation, maintenance, logistics, and digital technologies, as well as knowledge of relevant vendors.
- Understand and apply the Acquisition Lifecycle Framework (ALF) and System Engineering Lifecycle (SELC) processes to manage DE transition risks effectively. Provide guidance on cost management and regulatory compliance for DE services and tools.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Management Information Systems (MIS), or related IT fields.
- Hold certifications such as Object Management Group (OMG) Certified Systems Modeling Professional (OCSMP) SysML and International Council on Systems Engineering (INCOSE).
- Must be a U.S. citizen.
- Eligibility to obtain and maintain DHS suitability.
- Ability to work in a stationary position 50% of the time.
- Proficiency in operating office machinery including computers, calculators, copy machines, and printers.
