Join Our Team as a Physical Therapist I at UNC REX

Summary:
We are currently looking for a Physical Therapist I specialized in oncology physical therapy at UNC REX. While having a Certified Lymphedema Therapist certification is recommended, it is not mandatory. This role involves evaluating patient disabilities based on evidence, planning and administering physical therapy treatments, and guiding patients, families, and students. As a clinician, you will also be involved in continuing education, community activities, outreach education, and mentoring students.

Responsibilities:
- Administer basic and complex diagnostic tests for mobility disorders and impairments.
- Educate and supervise Physical Therapy students and clinical fellows/residents. Develop innovative programs to enhance patient care.
- Analyze diagnostic and therapeutic results to establish patient goals and treatment plans. Select and apply advanced techniques for efficient rehabilitative services.
- Serve as a resource to healthcare professionals, participate in community health events, and contribute to the development of new clinical programs.
- Contribute to the quality of clinical services through attendance in meetings and participation in continuous improvement initiatives.

Education Requirements:
- Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapy program

Licensure/Certification Requirements:
- Licensed as a Physical Therapist in North Carolina.
- BLS certification

Professional Experience Requirements:
- No prior experience required
