About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Physical Therapist I to join our team at UNC Therapy Services. As a member of our outpatient orthopedic therapy division, you will play a critical role in delivering comprehensive rehabilitation services to a diverse range of patient populations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide evidence-based evaluations, ongoing assessments, planning, and treatment to patients with a wide range of orthopedic and sports-related injuries, postoperative care, and geriatrics.
  • Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and outcomes.
  • Develop and implement innovative patient care programs, and act as a consultative resource for clinicians in your specialty area.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the maintenance of high standards of care and service delivery.
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapy program.
  • Licensed as a Physical Therapist in the state of North Carolina.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Ability to evaluate and treat a diverse orthopedic, geriatric, and sports-medicine patient population.
  • Advanced continuing education in the realm of orthopedics, sports medicine, geriatrics, and manual therapy.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent documentation skills and use of complex EMR.
