Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist I to join our team at UNC Health Care. This per diem position will be located in Siler City, NC, and may involve floating between acute care and outpatient clinics.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct evidence-based evaluations of patient disabilities and develop treatment plans to improve mobility and function.
  • Administer diagnostic tests and evaluations to assess patient needs and progress.
  • Teach and supervise graduate Physical Therapy students and/or clinical fellows/residents.
  • Develop and implement innovative programs to enhance patient care and outcomes.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to promote continuity of care and improve patient outcomes.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of new clinical programs.
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapy program.
  • License as a Physical Therapist in the state of North Carolina.
  • BLS certification.
  • No prior experience required.
Work Environment

This position is employed by UNC Health (Rex Healthcare, Inc., d/b/a NC Health), a private, fully-owned subsidiary of UNC Health Care System. This is not a State employed position.
