Job Summary:

The Vice President of People and Culture holds a senior position overseeing all aspects of HR Strategy.

This VP has a key role in shaping, implementing, and monitoring human capital programs and policies and will be a strategic partner ensuring these initiatives align with the company vision and promote a positive work culture.

This role is crucial within the Kimray Executive Team with direct oversight over People and Culture, Learning and Development, and Organizational Development.


Essential Job Functions:
- Act as a strong advocate of the Kimray culture, embodying core values, mission, and vision.
- Collaborate with the Officer Team (CEO/CFO/President) to develop P&C strategies in line with Kimray culture, strategy, and business objectives.
- Partner with Kimray Executive Team to support business strategy and operations.

- Ensure Kimray's values and culture drive the creation of P&C programs, integrating them throughout the team member lifecycle, from recruitment to departure.

- Cultivate relationships with key internal stakeholders to facilitate effective HR partnerships and provide insights on opportunities and challenges.

- Lead positive change through strategic implementation of corporate and HR strategies.
- Address complex challenges and promote excellence across the organization.
- Align HR objectives with business goals through organization-wide discussions.

- Offer market insights and guidance on talent implications of external trends, recommending necessary actions to address potential workforce impacts.

- Conduct comprehensive Risk Assessment of Core HR Functions and develop mitigation strategies.
- Advise on business unit restructures, workforce planning, and succession planning.
- Ensure team members are equipped with necessary tools and training for future needs.
- Collaborate with department leaders to align human resource goals with business objectives.

- Develop and assess performance management systems that enhance performance and team member engagement.

- Design and manage comprehensive compensation and benefits plans for competitiveness and cost-effectiveness.

- Create and implement strategic recruiting and retention plans to build a skilled workforce that meets Kimray's human capital needs.

- Build credibility as a problem solver in people issues and ensure prompt resolutions.

- Establish and enforce P&C policies in compliance with legal guidelines at Kimray.

- Provide guidance on employee relations and represent Kimray in personnel-related matters.

- Develop effective communication processes that embody Kimray culture.
- Continuously seek learning opportunities and contribute innovative ideas to Kimray.

Qualifications:
- 12+ years of progressive HR leadership experience, with at least 5 years in a senior HR leadership role.
- SHRM or SPHR certifications are advantageous.
- Proven track record in leading high-performing HR teams and developing future leaders.
- Expertise in driving HR strategies that yield business results.
- Experience in crafting Compensation Plans at all levels.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to navigate conflicts constructively and prioritize value delivery.
- In-depth knowledge of employment laws and strategic employee program management.
- Familiarity with Manufacturing and/or Energy industry preferred.
