**Job Description**

**AECOM** is seeking a Civil Engineer IV to be based in Honolulu, Hawaii.

_This position is expected to begin as soon as possible._

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

+ Senior technical resource may serve as technical advisor for team.

+ Provides specialized technical input to studies and design for staff's specific area of expertise.

+ Develops study and design procedures to facilitate high quality cost effective work by others.

+ Participates in interdisciplinary review of project deliverables.

+ Develops construction cost estimates and estimates of technical efforts for projects.

+ Uses expertise in all steps of completing discipline component of PS&E package.

+ Performs quality control review of design calculations or drawings.

+ Prepares technical specification sections.

+ Provides input to the development of engineering budget and schedule to meet requirements.

+ Work under the supervision of a project manager or senior-level team member.

+ Present design solutions to AECOM project teams.

+ Collaborate with other team members.

**Qualifications**

**MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:**

+ Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field and 6 years of experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education

**PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:**

+ Proficient with Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

+ PE license in Civil Engineering

+ Proficient with AutoCAD Civil 3D, Microstation, Arc GIS, Hydrologic/Hydraulic models

+ Extensive work experience with engineering firms, contractors, or government agencies involved in design, construction, or management of Water Resources, Site Development, Transportation, Stormwater, Wastewater or other general civil-related projects.

**Additional Information**

+ Relocation assistance is not available for this position.

+ We are interested in every qualified candidate eligible to work in the United States. Permanent residency sponsorship is available for current H1-B visa holders in the United States.

+ Valid U.S. Drivers License preferred to visit project sites, clients, and other AECOM offices when public transportation is not available. Selected candidate will undergo a Motor Vehicle Records review.

+ This position requires a hybrid work schedule which includes in-office work in Honolulu, Hawaii. The selected candidate must be available to work in Honolulu, Hawaii on a scheduled basis.

Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications. The expected range is $80, $115,
