Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the Chief Nursing Officer will be in charge of supervising and coordinating Nursing Services.

The CNO's primary focus is to align the nursing staff with the organization's values and vision, ensuring they work to their full potential within established standards of nursing and patient care.

The CNO will collaborate with other top executives to develop educational programs, career paths, and enhance the overall nursing services.


Responsibilities:
  • Stay updated on advanced nursing practices and standards
  • Collaborate with nursing leaders to ensure best practices and trends awareness
  • Develop patient-care programs in alignment with population health strategies
  • Work on continuous evaluation and improvement of nursing services and programs
  • Oversee various programs and certifications related to patient care and safety
  • Participate in emergency preparedness, quality improvement, and strategic planning

Requirements:
  • Current NYS RN license and BLS certification
  • Master's Degree in Nursing, Hospital or Business Administration
  • Minimum 5 years of leadership experience in ambulatory care
  • Data-driven, result-oriented with strong communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Word, PowerPoint, and intermediate Excel
