About the Position:
This position is under the Supervision of the Supply Chain Integration Directorate.

Responsibilities Serves as internal Special Projects Officer and principal advisor and consultant on management and administrative services to Directorates within the Integrated Logistics Support Center (ILSC).

Provides executive direction, assistance and support for all operations and activities of the ILSC.

Responsible for assuring that priority actions and those of particular interest to the Director are coordinated, staffed, and properly executed.

Incumbent must possess management and executive knowledge of a multitude of management, administrative, and technical initiatives under the domain of the ILSC.

Provides direction, guidance, and leadership to Division Level support staff by providing effective methods to task support work, resolve problems, answer questions, correct deficiencies, and assure that the Director objectives are being met.

Performs broad and complex studies and analyses across organizational and functional lines on a variety of projects, issues, and problem cases.

Oversees the Directorate and staff man-power management program and works with ILSC Business Management Office on manpower issues.

Specialized experience is defined as:
assigning, tasking and analyzing work. Gathering information and providing analysis to leadership. Managing a project or task from inception to conclusion. Performing resource management, includes time, personnel and/or funding.

Grade Requirement:

Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-12).

Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience aloneno substitution of education for experience is permitted.

Education Additional Information Male applicants born after December 31, 1959, must complete a Pre-Employment Certification Statement for Selective Service Registration.

You will be required to provide proof of U.S. Citizenship. One year trial/probationary period may be required. Direct deposit of pay is required. Selection is subject to restrictions resulting from Department of Defense referral system for displaced employees.
