**Job Title: Sign Language Interpreter (SLI)**

Soliant Education is currently seeking a qualified Sign Language Interpreter (SLI) to provide essential support for a kindergarten student onsite. This full-time position offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on the educational experience of a young learner who relies on American Sign Language (ASL) for communication.

**Responsibilities:**
- Provide interpretation and translation services between ASL and spoken English to facilitate communication between the student, teachers, and peers.
- Ensure accessibility to educational content, classroom discussions, and school activities for the student throughout the school day.
- Collaborate with educators and support staff to promote the student's academic, social, and emotional development.
- Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment that encourages the student's independence and participation in classroom activities.
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism while adhering to ethical standards of practice.

**Qualifications:**
- Certification as a Sign Language Interpreter (minimum level 4 or 5 proficiency in ASL).
- Previous experience working as an SLI in educational settings, preferably with elementary school students.
- Strong understanding of deaf culture and sensitivity to the needs of students who are deaf or hard of hearing.
- Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with educators, parents, and other stakeholders.
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet the evolving needs of the student and school environment.

**Schedule:**
- Full-time position (Monday-Friday)
- Hours: 8:15am-4:00pm
