Payroll/Benefits Specialist

Vaco Los Angeles is partnering with a manufacturing company located in the Rancho Dominguez area.  Our client is hiring for a Payroll/Benefits Specialist to add to their growing team. This position requires the preparation, processing, and maintenance payroll responsibilities and benefits administration. This position is perfect for someone looking to plant their roots and grow with a stable company.

This role is direct hire, offers a full-time schedule and is onsite 5/days per week.

Duties and Responsibility:
  • Ensure the timeliness and accuracy of full cycle biweekly payroll functions
  • Manage payroll functions including data entry, timesheet review, reconciliation and payroll related record keeping
  • Verify all pay statements during preview for accuracy and process adjustments if necessary
  • Administer all benefits enrollment, changes, inquiries and portfolio management 
  • Assist with special HR projects and other duties as assigned
Requirements: 
  • 3+ years of full-cycle payroll processing experience
  • 2+ benefits administration experience 
  • Ability to work in fast paced environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
