Educational Requirements:
Associate's Degree
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage in daily meetings to discuss quality-related topics.
- Lead the Quality program and document non-conformances using Quality Quest.
- Utilize Quality Quest to pinpoint areas needing focus.
- Assist in reviewing and training on relevant policies with proper documentation.
- Guide production teams in the correct handling of parts (usable, requires repair, or scrap).
- Collaborate closely with manufacturing teams to ensure compliance with industry-standard assembly and machining practices.
- Examine repair routers to verify adherence to established processes.
Required Skills:
- Self-driven with the capability to work autonomously and make immediate decisions.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, effective at all organizational levels.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Experience in reviewing, interpreting, and conveying technical specifications.
- Ability to establish credibility and influence professionals at all levels.
- Capacity to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, interpersonal, and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Technical/Trade school or Associate degree is preferred but not mandatory.
- Minimum of 3 years in machining, assembly/repair, quality control, or a related field within a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, including geometric dimensioning and tolerances.
- Capability to operate in a matrix environment and lead without direct authority.
- Understanding of material planning and shop floor scheduling.
