Production Manager

TheProduction Manager in Grafton, ND, will provide leadership anddirection to the product group in support of Marvin Window’sbusiness objectives. They manage production goals, ensure effectiveutilization of resources and materials and improve overallefficiency of operations. The manager facilitates strongcommunication and connection between all departments and resolvesproblems pertaining to people, production andproducts.
Highlights of your role: Develops andimplements plans and objectives relating to safety, quality,production and delivery.Manages production department leadership.Oversees employees in production department and carriesresponsibility for departmental productivity and goal achievement.Motivates, challenges,and provides feedback to leadership and employees. Addressescomplaints and courageously resolves problems.Manages andcontinually improves policies, procedures and processes to enhancemanufacturing efficiencies, quality, safety and delivery.Collaborates withsupport groups to initiate projects that support businessobjectives. You're a good fitif you have (or if you can):- Bachelor's degree, or equivalentexperience, in a relatedarea
- At least five yearssuccessful supervisory and production managementexperience.
- Experience with lean manufacturing andquality systems.
- Competence with manufacturing software andMS Office.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal andconflict resolutionskills.
- A passion fordeveloping others.
- Proven track record to critically analyzeand lead complex information to develop solutions toproblems.
