The Production Manager at Marvin will provide strategic leadership and direction to the product group in support of the company's business objectives. They will manage production goals, ensure effective utilization of resources and materials, and improve overall efficiency of operations. The manager will facilitate strong communication and connection between all departments and resolve problems pertaining to people, production, and products.
Key Responsibilities:- Develops and Implements Plans: Develops and implements plans and objectives relating to safety, quality, production, and delivery.
- Manages Production Department: Manages production department leadership, oversees employees in production department, and carries responsibility for departmental productivity and goal achievement.
- Motivates and Develops Team: Motivates, challenges, and provides feedback to leadership and employees. Addresses complaints and courageously resolves problems.
- Improves Manufacturing Efficiency: Manages and continually improves policies, procedures, and processes to enhance manufacturing efficiencies, quality, safety, and delivery.
- Collaborates with Support Groups: Collaborates with support groups to initiate projects that support business objectives.
- Education: Bachelor's degree, or equivalent experience, in a related area.
- Experience: At least five years successful supervisory and production management experience.
- Skills: Experience with lean manufacturing and quality systems, competence with manufacturing software and MS Office, excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills, a passion for developing others, and a proven track record to critically analyze and lead complex information to develop solutions to problems.
