Overview of Opportunity
Two Six Technologies is seeking a Mobile Test Engineer to contribute to a cutting-edge cyberspace capability project. The ideal candidate will excel in developing and maintaining automated end-to-end, integration, and performance tests for products combining computer hardware and software. This role involves close collaboration with research and development teams to ensure comprehensive software testing and adherence to quality standards. Join Two Six Technologies to be at the forefront of developing advanced cyberspace capabilities while ensuring top-notch quality in software and hardware products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead testing group to develop product test automation platform, integrating multiple software and hardware components.
- Implement and operate a high-performance CI pipeline utilizing custom, commercial, and open source tools.
- Develop functional, end-to-end, regression, and performance tests.
- Identify, document, and track software bugs and help manage product release schedules.
- Work closely with the development team to identify and reproduce product defects.
- Assist in planning and implementing tests for new features.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Active Top Secret Clearance
- Experience in software testing and quality assurance.
- Experience with testing, CI/CD pipelines, and virtual machine test environments.
- Experience testing, validating, and verifying the performance and functionality of Xilinx/AMD FPGA System-on-Chip (SoC) designs, firmware, and integration with software systems.
- Experience using issue tracking and source control tools (JIRA, Gitlab, BitBucket), artifact management (Artifactory, Nexus), logging (Graylog), asset management (SnipeIT), and various Continuous Integration tools (Jenkins).
- At least 3 years of experience with Linux OS.
- Familiarity with software development tools and environments (e.g., IDEs, debuggers, version control systems).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Python, C, and C++, including basic debugging skills.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience with automated testing and automation frameworks such as pytest (Python), unittest (Python), and Ansible.
- Hands-on experience with hardware testing tools such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, etc.
- Proficiency in programming and scripting languages (e.g., Python, C/C++, VHDL, Verilog).
- Expertise in refining low-level testing scripts using Bash, Python, and Ansible.
- Strong technical writing and documentation skills related to software development.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
