Join our dynamic team as a Staff Pharmacist at our partnered Pharmacy in Canton, NY location We are open to both permanent and contract candidates. Our ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the pharmacy department, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing exceptional patient care. We offer relocation assistance for permanent candidates and are looking to interview ASAP.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Register with the state board of pharmacy as a supervising pharmacist or pharmacist in charge.
  • Maintain the pharmacy's compliance with federal, state, and board regulations, as well as company policies.
  • Oversee the pharmacy's operations, including budgeting, payroll, third-party administration, scheduling, and inventory management.
  • Engage in business development activities within the store and community.
  • Manage and evaluate pharmacy support personnel, providing guidance and training.
  • Ensure all company-required training is completed by pharmacy associates.
  • Provide patient-centered services, including immunization, medication therapy management (MTM), and wellness programs.
  • Counsel patients and medical providers on drug use, dosage, interactions, and side effects, and monitor patient health and therapy compliance.
  • Participate in continuous quality improvement programs to ensure patient safety.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workstation and department facilities, adhering to legal and company standards.
  • Complete continuing education programs as required by state law.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Ideal Candidate:

  • NY License (Required)
  • Immunization Certification (Required)
  • Comfortable administering all vaccines (Required)

Salary: $62/hr - $65/hr
