Insurance Verification Specialist Job Description: 
  • Verify patient insurance with payors including eligibility and benefits related to treatment
  • Determine coordination of benefits as required; maintain current patient account information at all times
  • Initiate and/or maintain ongoing communication with facilities and IMT to ensure timely, accurate receipt of patient insurance coverage information
  • Update Patient Registration and associated systems accurately and as required and resolve patient account errors that cause registration denials

Insurance Verification Specialist Job Requirements:
  • High School Diploma
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Knowledge of medical terminology is a plus, but not required
  • Computer savvy
