Our Oakland County client has exclusively engaged us to to identify an Interim Corporate Accounting Manager. The Interim Corporate Accounting Manager will be responsible for reviewing and booking journal entries for various accounts, ensuring all back-up documentation has been provided. In addition, the Interim Corporate Accounting Manager will be responsible for reconciling balance sheet accounts, researching any variances, as well as providing month-end support and reviewing information post consolidation. The Interim Corporate Accounting Manager will also be responsible for supporting both internal and external audits globally.

The ideal Interim Corporate Accounting Manager must have 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at two years in public accounting and two years of people management experience. The ideal candidate must also have strong analysis experience, particularly variance analysis. In addition, the ideal candidate should have manufacturing, construction, real estate, or consulting industry experience. Prior experience utilizing a large ERP, such as SAP or NetSuite is required. Strong Excel experience including pivot tables and v/h/xlookups is required. Advanced Excel, such as sumifs, indexing and macros experience is highly preferred. Bachelors degree in accounting, finance or equivalent major required. CPA and/or MBA highly preferred.

Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to:

  • the individual’s skill sets, experience and training;
  • licensure and certification requirements;
  • office location and other geographic considerations;

With that said, as required by local law, Vaco believes that the following salary range referenced above reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
