Job Description:
Soliant Education is seeking a passionate and dedicated Special Education Teacher to join our team in Tolleson, Arizona. Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to meet each student's unique learning needs.
  • Provide differentiated instruction to students with disabilities, ensuring access to the general education curriculum.
  • Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and other school professionals to support student progress and achieve educational goals.
  • Use a variety of teaching strategies and tools to engage students in active learning and promote skill development.
  • Monitor and assess student progress regularly, adjusting instructional strategies as needed to meet each student's needs.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student performance and communicate progress to parents and school staff.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment where all students feel valued and encouraged.

Qualifications:

  • Must hold a valid Arizona teaching certification in Special Education.
  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Special Education or a related field.
  • Previous experience working with students with special needs is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students.
