Customer Service Representative

PeopleShare is looking for experienced, friendly and eager to learn customer service representatives in the Lehigh Valley. Bilingual in English/Spanish is required. Job Details for a Customer Service Representative:
- Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00AM-4:30PM, 8:30AM-5:00PM, 9:30AM-6:00PM
- Pay Rate: $17.00 Per Hour
- Location: Lehigh Valley, PA
Customer Service Representative Job Duties:
- Contracting patients to complete Medicaid applications and charity care process
- Verifying patient health insurance information
- Working with patients and/or family members, employers, banks and federal/state offices for additional information as needed
- Accurately document information into various systems
- Performing duties such as faxing, filing, emailing, and making phone calls to facilitate completion of applications
- Provide coverage at hospital facility on an as needed basis
- Assist patients in applying for medical assistance programs
- Counsel patients in navigating through medical bills, insurance benefits, and financial resources available.
- Working with patients, physicians, nursing staff, pharmaceutical and insurance companies
- Travel to other client facilities as needed
- Other duties as assigned.
Customer Service Representative Skills/Requirements:
- Must have Covid Vaccine
- Minimum high school diploma or GED
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
- Working knowledge of Microsoft applications: Outlook, Word and Excel
- Excellent interpersonal skills both written and verbal
- Detail oriented, strong problem solving and research skills
- Must be able to do 6-8 weeks of organized training in Allentown office (PATHS will pay for mileage and it will be paid training.)
- Train in our Allentown, PA office Monday-Friday 8:00 am-4:30 pm for 4 – 6 weeks
- Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle and car insurance
- Experience working in healthcare facility, insurance billing, Medicaid eligibility, or social work preferred.
- Comfortability working in a hospital environment
