We have an exciting opportunity for a TPSF Project Manager to join our team with the Operations & Test Division.

  • This position is for a Project Manager to support the multiple Thermal Protection System (TPS) customers and products manufactured at the Thermal Protection Systems Facility (TPSF) at the Kennedy Space Center (KSC). Job duties include daily face-to-face interaction with the TPSF managers, engineers, technicians, and support staff to prioritize tasks and ensure budget and schedule are being maintained.
  • The TPSF project manager will be the direct interface with the customers and will provide, daily, weekly, and monthly status reports as directed by the contract(s).
  • Perform other duties as required.

Here’s what you’ll need:

Requisition Qualifications:

  • Requires a bachelor's degree and normally possess 15 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
  • ​Minimum of 3 years of Project Management experience in the Aerospace industry
  • Positive attitude
  • Superb communication skills, both oral and written

Requisition Qualifications:

  • ​Experience and familiarity with the TPSF. Experience working with Solumina, Experience working in a very dynamic environment. A proven team player.

Essential Functions

Work Environment

Generally, an office environment, but can involve inside or outside work depending on task.

Physical Requirements

Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods (90% of time). May require lifting and carrying up to 25 lbs. (5% of time).

Equipment and Machines

Standard office equipment (PC, telephone, printer, etc.).

Attendance

Regular attendance in accordance with established work schedule is critical. Ability to work outside normal schedule and adjust schedule to meet peak periods and surge requirements.
