Job Description:

We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our school-based team in Minnetonka, MN. The SLP will be responsible for evaluating, diagnosing, and providing therapy to students with speech, language, and communication disorders to support their educational and developmental needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations to identify speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in students.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment results.
  • Provide direct therapy services to students, both individually and in group settings.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to integrate therapy goals into the classroom environment.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development and review of student-specific goals.
  • Monitor and document student progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of evaluations, therapy sessions, and progress reports.

Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Valid SLP license or certification in Minnesota.
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred.
  • Previous experience in a school setting is highly desirable.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
