Position Overview:

Soliant is seeking a qualified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide essential services within a school environment. The SLP will play a critical role in assessing, diagnosing, and delivering therapeutic interventions for students experiencing speech, language, and communication challenges.

Primary Duties:

  • Perform thorough assessments to detect speech, language, voice, and fluency issues among students.
  • Create and execute tailored treatment strategies based on evaluation findings.
  • Deliver therapy sessions to students, both one-on-one and in group formats.
  • Work collaboratively with educators, families, and school personnel to incorporate therapy objectives into daily classroom activities.
  • Engage in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings, contributing to the formulation and evaluation of student-specific objectives.
  • Track and document student advancements, adjusting treatment plans as needed.
  • Keep precise and current records of assessments, therapy sessions, and progress documentation.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Active SLP license or certification in the state of Minnesota.
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) is preferred.
  • Experience in a school setting is highly advantageous.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal abilities.
  • Capability to function effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
