Position Overview:
Soliant is seeking a committed and proficient Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide essential services within a school environment. The SLP will play a vital role in assessing, diagnosing, and delivering therapeutic interventions for students facing challenges related to speech, language, and communication.
Core Responsibilities:
- Perform thorough assessments to detect speech, language, voice, and fluency issues among students.
- Design and execute tailored treatment strategies based on evaluation findings.
- Deliver direct therapeutic services to students, both in individual and group formats.
- Work collaboratively with educators, families, and school personnel to incorporate therapy objectives into the educational framework.
- Engage in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings, contributing to the formulation and assessment of student-specific objectives.
- Track and document student advancements, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
- Ensure meticulous and current documentation of assessments, therapy sessions, and progress reports.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
- Active SLP license or certification in the relevant state.
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) is preferred.
- Experience in a school setting is highly advantageous.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal abilities.
- Capacity to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
