Are you an enthusiastic and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) looking for an exciting opportunity in Houston, TX? Soliant Health is actively seeking a qualified SLP to join a vibrant school district team for the current school year. This full-time, onsite position offers a rewarding career in a supportive educational environment with an elementary caseload.

Position Overview:

As a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP), you will play a pivotal role in helping elementary school students overcome communication challenges and achieve their academic goals. You will conduct assessments, develop and implement individualized therapy plans, collaborate with educators and parents, and foster a positive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments to evaluate and diagnose speech and language disorders.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and goals for students.
  • Provide individual and group therapy sessions to address communication challenges.
  • Collaborate with elementary school teachers, support staff, and parents to ensure comprehensive support.
  • Monitor and document student progress, making adjustments to therapy plans as needed.
  • Stay updated on best practices and research in the field of speech-language pathology.
  • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to goal development.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to student therapy and progress.
  • Create an inclusive and supportive learning environment for students.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field.
  • Valid Texas Speech-Language Pathology license.
  • ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) is preferred.
  • Previous experience in a school setting is advantageous.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Dedication to helping students overcome communication challenges and succeed academically.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
