Job Description:

Lake Worth, Florida, is in search of a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team. This position is focused on providing comprehensive speech and language services to students within our vibrant school community.

Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate students' speech and language abilities.
  2. Develop personalized treatment plans to address the unique communication needs of each student.
  3. Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students in individual and group settings.
  4. Collaborate closely with educators, parents, and other professionals to support students' academic and social development.
  5. Monitor students' progress and adjust intervention strategies as necessary to achieve desired outcomes.
  6. Maintain accurate documentation of assessment results, treatment plans, progress reports, and billing records in compliance with state regulations.
  7. Actively participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
  8. Stay informed about current research, best practices, and evidence-based interventions in the field of speech-language pathology.

Qualifications:

  1. Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited university.
  2. Active licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the state of Florida.
  3. Certification from the Florida Department of Health as a Speech-Language Pathologist (or eligibility for certification).
  4. Certification from the Florida Department of Education (FLDOE) as a Speech-Language Pathologist in schools (or eligibility for certification).
  5. Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), or eligibility to obtain.
  6. Preferred experience working with students in educational settings.
  7. Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
