Job Description: We are looking for a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) and/or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join our team in San Bernardino, CA. This role involves providing essential speech and language services to students in a school-based setting. The SLP/SLPA will work closely with students, teachers, and parents to support effective communication and learning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine students' speech and language needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and therapy goals.
  • Provide direct therapy services, including individual and group sessions, to students.
  • Collaborate with teachers and school staff to integrate therapy goals into classroom activities.
  • Monitor and document students' progress, adjusting therapy plans as needed.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of educational plans.
  • Educate and support teachers and parents on strategies to enhance students' communication skills.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of therapy sessions and student progress.

Qualifications:

  • For SLP: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program and current state licensure in California. CCC from ASHA preferred.
  • For SLPA: Bachelor's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or a related field, and current state licensure in California.
  • Experience in a school or pediatric setting is preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
